My newest involvement is with Most Valuable Kids,

I was recently nominated to the Board of Directors and am very excited to be working with this group.,
Founded in 2001 as a way to give back to the community,
MVK gives underprivileged children access to sporting and culturally enriching entertainment events that are too often an experience only middle and upper class families can afford. Youth from low-income families are often shut out from the inspirational experience of seeing their role models in person. Beyond simply exposing deserving children to an afternoon or evening of fun,
attending a live event,
opens their world to new experiences and helps them to see the opportunities available to them as valued members of our community.,
The organization was launched in Washington,
D.C.,
and is now expanding nationally. Each year,
$50 million dollars worth of local and professional sports and entertainment/performing arts tickets go unused. Over the past six years,
MVK has given away more than 70,
000 tickets to deserving children. ,
